Loup City is a welcoming rural community located in the heart of central Nebraska and serves as the county seat of Sherman County. Known as the “Polish Capital of Nebraska,” Loup City has a strong sense of heritage, community pride, and small-town hospitality. With a population of just over 1,000 residents, the city offers a close-knit atmosphere while providing essential services, quality schools, healthcare, local businesses, and recreational opportunities.
